Winners Never Quit And Quitters Never Win

Winners never quit - a Lifestyle of a confident woman

Many of us go through very difficult and turbulent times in our lives. Quitting is not an option for the confident woman.  When life becomes difficult, you need to focus and make up your mind and not to be swayed by emotions. Having self-confidence is belief in oneself, that one can overcome the situation at hand and not be fearful about it. Winners never quit and that is a lifestyle of a confident woman. In this article we talk about the famous proverb Winners Never Quit And Quitters Never Win.

Winners Never Quit And Quitters Never Win

Do not look at your difficult situation constantly.

When things become difficult, take one day at a time. Do not overload your mind and make it fearful looking at the long drawn process. Most of us make the common mistake of looking at our giants constantly and in the process getting fearful. Somebody had said “If you listen to your fears then you will die never knowing what a great person you might have been”.

For e.g. if your doctor has given you a bad report then it’s time to build your faith and encourage yourself to take one day at a time. You don’t need to be disappointed right at the beginning thinking about the long arduous journey ahead.

Never Quit.

When you fall down, getting up again is the key. Winners never quit. You need to understand that while life has its own share of disappointments and worries, you need to focus and walk through these disappointments with faith and love in your heart. For myself, meditating on Bible verses gives me a lot of comfort and strength to go through life’s challenges.

Quiet often we see war veterans and soldiers who have lost their limbs in battle, having such a strong determination and zeal for life. They just refuse to give up and go through intense training, preparation, sacrifice and stiff opposition to become successful again. It is therefore important to keep going and finish the challenges that life has set before us. Winners don’t always take first place but they must finish what they have started. Finishing your race will build up your confidence and help you trust yourself more.

Stay away from discouragement.

Discouragement comes when there are repeated trials and aggravations. Many a time, discouragements come through friends and families who bring us down instead of building us up. Be careful of people with whom you spend time. Keep away from critical, judgemental and fearful people who always only talk about the worst case scenario. Make a conscious choice of keeping away from discouragement.

It is important to know that we need to sow seeds of encouragement in our lives and those around us. If you sow seeds of encouragement then you will receive the harvest of encouragement.

Be courageous in difficult situations.

Many a time we see uncommon courage from women around us. Many single or widowed moms have single-handedly braved the storms of life and have brought up their children to be successful adults.

We have heard many inspiring stories of men and women who have chosen the truth even when they were threatened with death. Never choose to live in fear that tomorrow you might get a bad report from a doctor or an economic crash might happen etc. Trust God and live a life of faith. God is in control of all things and he can supernaturally move things in your favour only if your allow him to do it through faith.

Caring for others.

Our lives are so busy thinking only about ourselves. We try to avoid pain, difficulties and fear. We want to live in our comfort zone. Remember our joy and blessings increase only when we reach out to others. We won’t be of much help is we are self-centred, selfish and fearful of what is happening to us.

I remember watching a testimony of a little Christian girl aged 8 years old. She saw her whole family killed by the terrorists and only she escaped. When she was asked the question, what she felt towards the terrorists, she said that she had already forgiven them and that she prayed that they will understand the love of God. She further goes on to say that she holds no bitterness or hatred towards them. Now this child has an unusual and uncommon courage to forgive her tormentors.

In today’s world, many people are hurting, bitter, angry and resentful. People with uncommon courage change the world around them. If people have this uncommon courage to forgive, then the world will be a much better place to live in.

These are some of the key aspects which will help you to be self-confident and never quit. And this is a lifestyle that a confident woman should cultivate.
