Why green leafy vegetables should be included in your diet

We all have heard our parents say that “eat leafy green vegetables as they are good for the body”. Inspite of not being great in taste, leafy vegetables always formed a part of our diet. Our mothers cooked them in various forms such as spinach parathas, soups, green puris, methi rice etc., just to ensure that we ate leafy vegetables. In reality, green leafy vegetables are loaded with minerals and nutrients, which are extremely good for the body.
