Chicken chilli fry is my grandmothers recipe and has been passed down through generations. I love eating this with chapatis or Goan poi. This chilli fry is not chinese or indo chinese recipe but this is a pure Goan side dish.
Tender, juicy perfectly stir fried chicken and some green chilli to enhance the spring onion and tomato flavor. The spice flavor can be controlled by the amount of chillies used.
This recipe is very easy to make and can be made by all. Its a very delicious dish and is relished by one and all. It is also a popular Goan stir- fry which can be prepared with all the ingredients that are easily available at home.
One can make it more flavorful by adding spice powders and lots of fresh coriander. Lemon or vinegar adds in that a bit of tang to a chilli fry.
The main ingredients used are chicken, tomatoes, spring onions and potatoes. Roast and chilli fries are loved and enjoyed by goans .
